Who has heard of the Army / Air / Sea Cadet Program? (Canada)?
seriously as a young man of large (12-18) program, if not better than the scouts. I'm surprised that many people have not heard of. It develops leadership, citizenship, teamwork, discipline, status physical, communication skills, the things that young people lack today. Ive done some of the best memories and experiences through this program (cadets Army). and looks great on your CV! coming to do a lot and best of all expenses (living expenses, food, transportation, etc.) paid by the Government of Canada. free summer camps for 2-6 weeks at night (actually it back in the form of training allowances to buy sandwiches and others), rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, glacier trekking, biking (the Rockies) cultural exchanges with many countries in Europe and North America to jump from a plane on an expedition French Alps, Northern Canada, New Zealand to obtain his license to fly guarantees summer employment at a decent wage per day, much more
I've heard about it and I was involved with both Air and Army Cadets. He was also very involved with the Scouts and we can say that both programs are good for their own purposes. They are different and youth participation for different reasons. I found however, that the air cadet tends to attract a type of child, while Cadets Army tends to attract another. Sea Cadets is something that I had no direct involvement, so I can not comment directly on it. Air Cadet tends to attract young people who are somewhat better in school and two mothers of the upper middle class, while the army cadet tends to have more children of single parents. I that the Corps of Cadets program is somewhat limiting. I mean, what can be done, but drill, band, PT and camping (not like the sound of a drill or something) while in air cadets, are not the same year the band and PT, but its flight schedule delta and is attractive to many young people.
