What are the first letters of their name to be according to the signs of Vedic astrology, and why do this?

I wonder Vedic astrologers do you think a baby's name must begin with according to its sign. If you could provide a list that would be a great help. (Not sure how to find this line above.) And why this is: what is the purpose. It's only Hindus do this? What about Muslims Buddhists, Jains or Sikhs? Is this a social sign of other people so you can "identify"? For example, my name starts with J and I learned that some Sagittarius think I am because of my name J, but I have to say that I am not because my parents were not familiar with this custom. Do people who care about these things I being treated a certain way or believe certain things about me if they think I am because of my name Sagittarius?
